Helping you to live a life of purpose on purpose

Faith is an action word

In this session Phil looks at how we walk out our faith.

Here’s a teaser:

When a Hebrew person talks about Faith they use the word “Emunah”.

Strong’s Hebrew Dictionary tells us that this word is an action word meaning to support.  It means if I have faith, I will support by doing.

This places the action on the one who has emunah, faith, the one who “supports God”.  If I have emunah, I will act to support God.  That means I will do what I can to support God’s will.

Another definition puts it this way:

To have faith in God is not knowing that God exists or knowing that he will act, rather it is that the one with emunah will act with firmness toward God’s will.

Enjoy!
